A workroom visit to Gracie Wallpaper in LIC

This morning we visited the workroom and studio of Gracie Wallpaper in Long Island City to review samples and glazing on a custom order with Mile Gracie.

Luckily for us, while we were there we got to see and experience this project his team are currently working on. It is the restoration of an 18th Century original Chinese wallpaper. Its beautiful: the detail, color and composition are breath taking!!

Hopefully we'll get to use such a paper soon on a project!
